A lovely recent tomb. Dated 2019, 104 years after the birth of Lucrécia Rita. The picture of her and her husband is amazing! The tomb is well maintained, as it is the cemetery in general.
It's incredible to think that although the lady just died 5 years ago she was born during the First World War and she was 20 years old when the Second World War ended. Not that these conflicts affected the country but still...
Of course for someone living in such remote area these (and other) events wouldn't make a difference. She would be more focused in earning her life and focus in local events, which are mostly undocumented. Definitely - considering it's a border village - the Spanish Civil War made an impact. She would be a young adult be then.
