These Then and Now photos are of Most Sorrowful Mother of God Roman Catholic Church, located on the corner of Ferry and Jackson Streets in the town of Vevay, Switzerland County, Indiana. The church was built in 1875 and the parish was officially founded in 1876 as part of the Diocese of Vincennes, which later became the Diocese of Indianapolis. The church was remodeled in 1984, which included the addition on the front of the church, and again in 2009. The church is now part of Prince of Peace Parish and has one weekly Mass on Saturday evenings.

The "Then" photo shows the church as it stood in approximately the 1930s. The "Now" photo shows the church as it stands today. The main difference is the addition to the front of the church, as explained above.
