THE DAFFODIL SOCIETY'S CENTENARY
1898-1998
These bulbs were donated by The Society's
Northern Group to commemorate the
Centenary in 1998. The Society is the
specialist organization for all daffodil
enthusiasts, amateur or professional,
and its aims are to promote the flower
and knowledge of its cultivation.
These bulbs give idea of the wide
range of colours & forms in daffodils
and we hope that you enjoy the planting
for many years to come.
Daffodils flower in early spring and are popular in places that have public displays of plants. However these bulbs are planted around trees which proved an amount of shade. Because of these they flower slightly later than any that are planted in sunny areas.
