This is a recreation of the 1787 Fort. The fort had been built by the First American Regiment to protect land surveyors who were mapping the Northwest Territory.
The fort includes enlisted men's blockhouses, officer's quarters, quartermaster, artificer's shops, guardhouse, hospital, and commissary.
The fort is open to visitors from May through October.
