A William Shakespeare bust can be seen in Parcul Regele Mihai I (King Mihai I Park).

King Mihai I Park is a large park in northern Bucharest. The park is laid out on the shores of Lake Herastrau and the total area is 187 ha.

The area where the park is now located was formerly a very swampy area which was drained around 1930. The designs for the park were made by the architects Ernest Pinard and Friedrich Rebhuhn and the park was completed in 1936. In 1951 the park was expanded.

At the entrance to the park, there was a statue of Stalin from 1951, but it was torn down in 1962. However, there are many other memorials and sculptures in the park, some of which are of famous people, such as William Shakespeare.

Otherwise, there are many different trees, bushes and flowers surrounded by many paths and many benches. There is also space for a playground for the little ones.
