Como no podía ser de otra manera, en esta pequeña aldea de Aliaga en Teruel, donde todos los que la crearon y que aquí vivían, trabajaban en las minas de carbón.
De ahí esta escultura en recuerdo a todos esos mineros que se ganaban la vida con el peligro cada día.
La escultura representa un vagón cargado de carbón sobre los raíles, tal y como sacaban el carbón del interior de la mina. Parece una vagoneta real donde han usado piedras pintadas en negro para simular el carbón.
How could it be otherwise, in this small village of Aliaga in Teruel, where everyone who created it and who lived here worked in the coal mines.
Hence this sculpture in memory of all those miners who made a living from danger every day.
The sculpture represents a wagon loaded with coal on the rails, just as they took the coal from inside the mine. It looks like a real wagon where they have used black painted stones to simulate coal.
