Pequeño capilla en honor a Nuestra Señora de Fátima ubicado en el cruce de la Estrada Nacional y la Avenida da Liberdade en Palmela.
Este monumento fue inaugurado el 15 de junio de 2014.
El monumento nació de un equipo de buena voluntad, que inició esta obra el 5 de febrero de 2014 y cuatro meses después ofreció los frutos de su trabajo.
En el acto de inauguración se felicitó a quienes tuvieron la idea y se organizaron para hacer posible este monumento y que hoy pueden decir 'yo también colaboré en la obra'.
También se destacó la ubicación del monumento, ya que no pasa desapercibido para cualquiera que pase en coche o a pie.
"La Virgen de Fátima, formalmente Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Fátima, es una advocación con que se venera en el catolicismo a la Virgen María. En la misma línea que otras apariciones marianas, tuvo su origen en los testimonios de tres niños pastores, llamados Lucía dos Santos, Jacinta y Francisco Marto, quienes afirmaron haber presenciado varias apariciones marianas en la Cova da Iria, Fátima, en Portugal, entre el 13 de mayo y el 13 de octubre de 1917. A partir de entonces, esta advocación mariana extendió su fama más allá de sus límites locales llegando a todo el mundo."

Small chapel in honor of Our Lady of Fátima located at the intersection of Estrada Nacional and Avenida da Liberdade in Palmela.
This monument was inaugurated on June 15, 2014.
The monument was born from a team of good will, who began this work on February 5, 2014 and four months later offered the fruits of their work.
At the opening ceremony, congratulations were given to those who had the idea and organized themselves to make this monument possible and who today can say 'I also collaborated in the work'.
The location of the monument was also highlighted, as it does not go unnoticed by anyone passing by by car or on foot.
"The Virgin of Fátima, formally Our Lady of the Rosary of Fátima, is an invocation with which the Virgin Mary is venerated in Catholicism. In the same line as other Marian apparitions, it had its origin in the testimonies of three shepherd children, called Lucía dos Santos, Jacinta and Francisco Marto, who claimed to have witnessed several Marian apparitions in the Cova da Iria, Fátima, in Portugal, between May 13 and October 13, 1917. From then on, this Marian devotion extended its fame beyond its local limits reaching the entire world."
