This ferry crosses the Nile uninterruptedly although during the day the frequency is higher. Pretty much the ferry goes after a considerable number of passengers embarks. Price is 5 EGP although tourists may be slightly overcharged. The East bank is where Luxor itself is located so this terminal connects the settlements in the West bank with the city. To visitors the West bank is an excellent option to be accommodated as it's quieter and tourist friendly.
