This is the left of the two cannons here at the Sydney & Louisberg Railway Museum in Louisbourg, Nova Scotia. The guns were lifted by the Dominion Coal Company in 1895 from the bottom of the nearby harbour. They were used by the French Navy, potentially abandoned during or after the 7 Years War. The cannons have seen plenty of erosion over the years.
