"Chimenea industrial de ladrillo visto, erigida por los vuelos de los años cincuenta, de sección hexagonal con una pequeña moldura o coronamiento. La chimenea servía para evacuar los gases del hogar de la caldera del molino para obtener vapor de agua para secar el cartón fabricado.

Observaciones:
La chimenea es el símbolo industrial del Parque de la Chimenea de 1.825 m2.

Se desconoce el origen de este molino pero sí se sabe que fue uno de sus antiguos propietarios, perteneciente a la familia Llovateres, quien hacia el siglo XVII, se hizo construir una residencia junto al molino y que hoy conocemos como Can Buxó . Por tanto la situación de la casa se debe a la existencia previa del molino, construido en este lugar debido al paso de la acequia Monnar. Seguramente la apariencia originaria era similar a la de otros molinos medievales: planta baja y piso y cubierta a un agua. El molino fue comprado por Joan Buxó en 1712 y perteneció a esta familia durante unos 200 años aunque tuvo varios arrendatarios. Con el tiempo el edificio fue ampliando y reformando para alojar nueva maquinaria. En 1896 el molino se adaptó para fabricar cartón. Fruto de ese cambio se construyó una chimenea de ladrillo que se alzaba sobre las naves del molino. En 1913 la familia Calvet, arrendataria del molino de Coll, compró el molino de los Buxó y en los años cincuenta llevó a cabo las últimas modernizaciones del molino, con la construcción de la chimenea que hoy se conserva. El molino se desmanteló y trasladó a La Llagosta en los años setenta, pero la chimenea se conservó y restauró como monumento emblemático de la historia industrial del pueblo."
