This Citizen Memorial is located in Brigus, Newfoundland in a small parkette on the shoreline off Middle Ridge road. The memorial is in honour of Robert Abram Bartlett who was a Master Mariner, born in Brigus and died in New York at the age of 70.

Bartlett led 40 expeditions to the Arctic and received the Hubbard Medal by the National Geographic Society. He also received the Peary Polar Expedition Medal.

On the monument is a metal relief image of Bartlett.
