While clearing an area around the church in the early 1990s, St. John Bosco parishioner Jim Senko was inspired to create a park for prayer and contemplation, containing the Stations of the Cross as well as shrines to Catholic saints. He and other parishioners helped create this park, open to all who wish to come and meditate here.
The park is open during daylight hours whenever the church is open; the north gates to the church parking lot are most often unlocked, and the entrance to the park is in the southwest corner of the lot.
Volunteers from St. John Bosco work hard to maintain this space. Please be respectful of their time and effort by taking only photographs and leaving only footprints. This place is also meant to be a place of reverence and communion with a higher power. If your littles need to work out some energy, there's a food bank garden and playground next to the park.
