Albert Matheussen lived to be a hundred years old, passing just a month shy of his next birthday. Born in Belgium, Albert served in the Merchant Marines and made his way to Texas before moving to Chickasha. Born long before man's first powered flight and even before the first practical automobile, he lived to see the Apollo Moon landings and Skylab and to drive on the Interstate Highway System.
