"Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza de s'Agaró es una iglesia católica romana catalogada como monumento protegido con el rango de bien cultural de interés local ,. Se encuentra dentro del casco urbano de s'Agaró (municipio de Castell d'Aro, Platja d'Aro y s'Agaró , Baix Empordà ). Es obra del arquitecto Francesc Folguera y fue construida entre 1941 y 1943.
Es una iglesia delicadamente neobarroca y de un acusado pintoresquismo que pretende enlazar con la tradición popular de las ermitas y santuarios marineros y al mismo tiempo concordar con el estilo predominante en s'Agaró. El autor incorporó una portada barroca, elementos góticos procedentes del convento de San Francisco de Girona (las arcadas de la galería junto al mediodía) y dos sepulcros góticos procedentes de Foixà en el interior de la galería cubierta. Exteriormente destaca por el juego de volúmenes, entrantes y salientes y por la blancura de las paredes junto al rojo del tejado.
La fachada es de gran sencillez. Se accede por una escalinata flanqueada por cipreses. Está presidida por un conjunto ornamental de piedra donde se incluye la portada enmarcada con pilares adosados, volutas, conchas y elementos florales, una hornacina vacía y un rosetón circular con elementos vegetales como ornamentación. El repertorio ornamental es el característico del siglo XVIII . La parte superior de la fachada sobre el frontón triangular está terminada con un campanario de pared .
En la fachada, una lápida con inscripción recuerda que fue promovida por Josep Ensesa i Gubert (1892-1980) y que fue consagrada al culto el día 16 de julio de 1942."

"Our Lady of Hope of s'Agaró is a Roman Catholic church listed as a protected monument with the rank of cultural asset of local interest. It is located within the urban area of ??s'Agaró (municipality of Castell d'Aro, Platja d'Aro). 'Aro and s'Agaró, Baix Empordà). It is the work of the architect Francesc Folguera and was built between 1941 and 1943.
It is a delicately neo-baroque church with a pronounced picturesqueness that aims to link with the popular tradition of hermitages and marine sanctuaries and at the same time agree with the predominant style in s'Agaró. The author incorporated a baroque doorway, Gothic elements from the convent of San Francisco in Girona (the arcades of the gallery next to the noon) and two Gothic tombs from Foixà inside the covered gallery. Externally it stands out for the play of volumes, incomings and outgoings and for the whiteness of the walls together with the red of the roof.
The façade is very simple. It is accessed by a staircase flanked by cypresses. It is presided over by an ornamental stone complex that includes the doorway framed with attached pillars, volutes, shells and floral elements, an empty niche and a circular rose window with plant elements as ornamentation. The ornamental repertoire is characteristic of the 18th century. The upper part of the facade above the triangular pediment is finished with a wall bell tower.
On the façade, a tombstone with an inscription remembers that it was promoted by Josep Ensesa i Gubert (1892-1980) and that it was consecrated to worship on July 16, 1942."
