This bridge is named after the church that stands next it and provides a crossing over the River Skerne.

The road over the bridge is called Stonebridge and this cast iron bridge does replace a three arch stone bridge.
This bridge was erected in 1895 and has the date marked in two places.
The first has the manufacturer and date embossed into the cast iron side of the bridge.
