Mar Girgis metro station is in the Blue Line - Line 1, of Metro network in Cairo. It's just a few stops of the most central stations and it's widely used by local residents and by visitors converging to visit Coptic Cairo. Actually this is one the few - if not the only - attractions which is served by a Metro station in Cairo, as most of the network was designed thinking about providing transportation from/to residential neighborhoods.
