Das Ellinger Tor ist das bekannteste mittelalterliche Stadttor der Stadtbefestigung von Weißenburg in Bayern und gilt als Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Das Bauwerk ist in der Bayerischen Denkmalliste unter der Denkmalnummer D-5-77-177-136 eingetragen. Von den Toren der Reichsstadt Weißenburg ist neben dem Ellinger Tor lediglich das Spitaltor, der heutige Kirchturm der heutigen Spitalkirche, vorhanden. Die Steinbogenbrücke im Vorfeld zeigt das Baujahr "1717".

The Ellinger Tor is the most famous medieval city gate of the city fortifications of Weißenburg in Bavaria and is considered a landmark of the city. The building is registered in the Bavarian list of monuments under the monument number D-5-77-177-136. Of the gates of the imperial city of Weißenburg, apart from the Ellinger Gate, only the Spitaltor, today's church tower of today's Spitalkirche, remains. The stone arch bridge in front shows the year of construction "1717".
