Ingatorp church with the black and white steeple can be seen from far around. The steeple is 52 m /170 ft.

Ingatorp church from 1914 was built on the site of the fire of the former church from 1834. Here, lightning struck the tower in 1911 and the church burned down. However, the church tower is exactly the same as the old one.

In fact, it is the third church on the site. A medieval church has stood on the site of the current church. However, not much is known about the design of this first church, as most of the archival material about it has probably disappeared during the ravages of the Danes in 1611. However, it is described as a stone church, based on the remains that have been found.

The church is built of stone which is whitewashed. The roof is red brick. The building itself consists of a nave with a round chancel to the east and sacristy to the north. The distinctive tower, where the church bells are also located, is to the west.

Inside, the church is characterized by the art nouveau of the time and national romanticism with floral decorations and twisted lines. (visit link) Architect Fredrik Falkenberg has drawn both the floor plan and details.

From the two former churches, only the baptismal font from the 17th century and a medieval crucifix exist.

There is room for 400 people in the church.
