A plena luz del día. Ocultando su rostro, un hombre habría apuñalado a otro que portaba la recaudación de varios establecimientos comerciales en el centro comercial Plaza Mayor. La finalidad, robarle el dinero que llevaba, cuya cantidad asciende a los 80.000 euros, según informaron fuentes cercanas a la investigación.
Los hechos han tenido lugar este jueves 21 de diciembre, sobre las 11:30. La víctima, tras recaudar las cajas de algunas de las tiendas ubicadas en el centro comercial Plaza Mayor, ha ido a recoger la motocicleta en la que se desplazaba cuando se ha percatado de que le habían pinchado una rueda.
En ese momento, un hombre habría aparecido con lo que parecía una careta de Darth Vader -el famoso villano de la trilogía Star Wars- según los miembros de seguridad de una de las tiendas cercanas al lugar de los hechos, que alertaron a la Policía Local; aunque todo apunta a que se trate de un casco de moto. De manera sorpresiva y por la espalda, supuestamente habría apuñalado a la víctima para arrebatarle el dinero que portaba:unos 80.000 euros. Mientras tanto, un segunda persona lo estaría esperando en una moto. Ambos se dieron a la fuga tras los hechos.
La víctima ha recibido un corte de unos cinco centímetros en la zona lumbar, por lo que ha requerido el traslado a un hospital de la capital malagueña tras ser atendido por agentes de la Policía Local, que se han desplazado al lugar de los hechos. La investigación, de la que se ha hecho cargo Policía Nacional, permanece abierta para el total esclarecimiento del suceso y la localización de los presuntos responsables, pues desde la Comisaría Provincial de Málaga informan de que por el momento no se han producido detenciones.
Desde Plaza Mayor aseguran que han seguido "los protocolos de seguridad una vez ha sido notificado del incidente" y "priorizado el bienestar y seguridad de sus clientes". En esta línea, destacan la colaboración del centro comercial con las autoridades en aquello que han solicitado. Asimismo, informan de que la víctima fue atendida tan solo unos minutos después del altercado en las propias instalaciones y que se encuentra estable, "fuera de peligro".

The events took place this Thursday, December 21, around 11:30. The victim, after collecting the boxes from some of the stores located in the Plaza Mayor shopping center, went to pick up the motorcycle he was riding on when he realized that a tire had been punctured.
At that moment, a man appeared with what looked like a Darth Vader mask - the famous villain from the Star Wars trilogy - according to the security members of one of the stores near the scene, who alerted the Local Police. ; although everything indicates that it is a motorcycle helmet. Surprisingly and from behind, he allegedly stabbed the victim to take the money he was carrying: about 80,000 euros. Meanwhile, a second person would be waiting for him on a motorcycle. Both fled after the incident.
The victim has received a cut of about five centimeters in the lumbar area, which is why he has required transfer to a hospital in the capital of Malaga after being treated by agents of the Local Police, who have traveled to the scene of the events. The investigation, which has been taken over by the National Police, remains open to fully clarify the event and locate the alleged perpetrators, since the Malaga Provincial Police Station reports that at the moment there have been no arrests.
From Plaza Mayor they assure that they have followed "the security protocols once they have been notified of the incident" and "prioritized the well-being and safety of their clients." Along these lines, they highlight the collaboration of the shopping center with the authorities in what they have requested. Likewise, they report that the victim was treated just a few minutes after the altercation at the facilities and that he is stable, "out of danger."
