Patong beach is almost 3 kilometres long beach in Patong town. It's well-known for its fine,
white sand. Beach is great for swimming and sunbathing, water sports, there is also stop for long tail boats to a Freedom beach. Lifeguard is present during the day. Cars and motorbikes is not allowed on the beach, but parking is nearby. You can also get here on your own from the Patong town. Bus stop (Phuket smart bus in the direction Rawai > Airport + local bus Phuket town > Patong town) is nearby the entrance to the beach. Nudes are also not allowed on the beach. Beach is open 24/7 for public and there is no entrance fee. There are many stands with fresh fruit and shakes. You can also see many people sell glasses, bracelets and other souvenirs.
