This building is still part of the Anglican community in Rutherglen and is used for regular services throughout the year. It was build in 1866 and had duel use as a school until 1895, The building is well maintained and is an important part of the local community.
It is a favoured landmark in the community as there are few buildings in the farmland of the area.
