William H. Johnson was but forty-eight years of age at the time of his death. His Woodmen of the World grave marker is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a square base (rather than the usual cut logs). The marker also has a large crossed axe and mallet, and includes a Dove of Peace. The inscription is:
