Ce pont naturel se trouve sur les hauteurs de La Ciotat, accessible depuis la route des crêtes entre La Ciotat et Cassis.
Nichée entre le ciel et la mer, cette structure emblématique offre un panorama à couper le souffle.
L'arche est visible depuis la route mais il est possible d'y accéder à pieds. En se stationnant dans le virage surplombant l'arche, il faut compter 8 à 10 minutes pour y descendre.
Attention, il faut avoir des chaussures correctes (pas de chaussures ouvertes type claquettes !) et l'accès est déconseillé aux enfants en bas âge.

This natural bridge stands on the heights of La Ciotat, accessible from the route des crêtes between La Ciotat and Cassis.
Nestled between the sky and the sea, this emblematic structure offers a breathtaking panorama.
The arch is visible from the road, but can be reached on foot. If you park on the bend overlooking the arch, it takes 8-10 minutes to get there.
Please note that proper footwear is required (no open shoes like flip-flops!) and access is not recommended for small children.

It comes from poudingues, an assemblage of Permian sandstone and quartzite pebbles and, more rarely, limestone pebbles (often dissolved and eroded by rainwater).
