This Skate Park is located in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The park is just south of the famous Unisphere and beside the New York State pavilion towers.
Also known as "Maloof Cup Park" the park is named after the Maloof Money Cup, an event founded by Joe and Gavin Maloof which was hosted here in 2010 and 2011. It was a competition made to raise awareness for skateboarding. The skate park was built for the events.
In the 2010 Chris Cole won the pro street finals and Felipe Gustavo won the amateur division. In 2011 Greg Lutzka won the pro and Evan Smith won the amateur.
The park consists of 16,000-sq.-ft. concrete public complex with multiple stairs, rails of varying lengths & banks.
