[EN] The church was begun in 1626 and completed in 1677 after a long break in construction. The plans were drawn up by François Mansard, who was then in charge of the construction of the Château de Blois, ordered by Gaston d'Orléans. However, drawings in the Quimper library suggest that a Jesuit architect, Father Martilange, was also involved. Until 1764, the building served as a chapel for the Jesuit college for which it had been built. During the French Revolution, it became the Temple de la Liberté and, in 1826, the parish church. It's a monument of limited dimensions. The façade features the three superimposed classical orders. Inside, the general layout and decoration follow a Doric order. The choir is richly decorated. On either side of the main altar are two monuments erected by Mlle de Montpensier in memory of Gaston d'Orléans.
