Mound Cemetery is on the west side of Old U.S. Highway 183, south of Taloga. This veterans memorial is near the entrance, on the south side of the entry drive.

Marker Text: This granite memorial stands as a lasting tribute to ouor service men and women who helped keep our great American way of life.

Who Put it Here?: Family of Frank and Ollie Butler
Description of Memorial: The memorial is comprised of seven pink granate monuments: three tall, and four shorter. The three tall monuments bear the names of the conflicts above, and the central monument carries the text given above. The shorter pillars bear the names of those who served. The seven monuments are set on a rectangular concrete slab.
