Brandbilen Valle - Finsta, Sweden - Fire Fighting Vehicles on Waymarking.com

The newly renovated fire engine, called Valle, can be seen in a field near Finsta.

The fire engine was in a very bad condition when it was found in a barn several years ago. However, it piqued the interest of Christer Larsson, who decided that it should be renovated.
Together with other volunteers, Christer Larsson has been responsible for the renovation of the fire engine, which now stands shining red at Findstavejen. There is free access to the fire engine, where there is also an information board showing the entire renovation process.

The fire engine "Valle" was manufactured in 1953 by Allmänna Brandredskapsaffären AB at Wattholma Bruk, Uppland. It is built on a Volvo chassis and with a six-cylinder petrol engine 3670 cc and 91 hp.
The fire engine was at the fire station in Norrtälje.
