International Park was once the manufacturing hub for the Fort Wayne region by the mid-20th century. The park is the former home to what was once the area's largest employer, International Harvester, which peaked at 10,600 workers in 1979. The plant, which closed July 15, 1983, is still mostly intact and used as an incubator for smaller industrial firms and businesses, now known as International Park Business Center.-International Park Business Center

Though many of the buildings and the power plant on the 137 acre complex have been demolished, this one in the 1949 postcard has been repurposed and is in great condition for its 100 year age.
