[EN] "The original building was a single nave, with no buttresses, covered by a visible roof frame. Its layout is typical of the Carolingian tradition, which continued into the first half of the 11th century, and of which a significant part has been preserved. In the mid-12th century, the church was enlarged with a bell tower-porch on the west side, followed by a Gothic-style choir with a flat chevet, typical of the 12th-13th century in Limousin. The south side chapel was built after the choir was rebuilt. This apse may be a 15th-century neo-Romanesque creation, initially linked to a square side chapel, forming a sort of false transept with the north chapel. The chapel was then extended westwards in the early 16th century. The north chapel was added in the early 19th century. The bell tower was rebuilt in 1863-1866."
