On the other side of the poet's statue, in the Rosalía de Castro Monument inaugurated in 1917 by Isidro de Benito, there is this pair of dancers.
They are dressed in traditional Galician costume, and represent the nostalgia of the time, for emigration, poverty, the power of the Church, etc.
They represent all the characters of Rosalía's works, as in the poems of "Cantares Gallegos".
