Located between Fort Myers, FL and LaBelle, FL is the W.P. Franklin North Campground. This campground is located at the W.P. Franklin Lock on the Caloosahatchee River. Access to the campground is from the north side of the river via State Road 78.
This campground has 29 campsites suitable for motorhomes, tents, trailers and fifth-wheels. There are also 8 boat slips for boaters to use overnight. Costs are $30.00 pre site/per day with checkin at 12:00 noon or later and checkout by 11:00 am or earlier. Each campsite has a paved parking area, fire ring, BBQ grill, 50 amp electric and water hookups and a covered picnic table. A dump station is on site for campers to use.
Amenities include two restroom buildings with toilets and showers, fishing pier, wifi, boat slips, boat trailer parking, picnic shelters, and boat ramp. Activities include camping, birding, boating, fishing and kayaking.
