Samuel Montgomery Pace was but fifty-eight years at the time of his death. His Woodmen of the World grave marker is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a base of four cut logs that are adorned with leaves and ivy. His wife Jane, who outlived him by twenty-two years, is interred beside him. Both markers are on the west side of a large shrub that threatens to envelope them both. The text on his marker is
