Essentially, the Arsenal Bridge and the Johnson Street Pedestrian Bridge run East-West across the San Antonio River in the King Williams neighborhood South of downtown San Antonio, TX. The river flows from North to South.
This Station 832-2 disk is about 220 feet South of the stone stairway connecting the East Cesar E. Chaves Boulevard roadway to the San Antonio Riverwalk. These stairs are on the westward side of the Riverwalk path and by continuing to walk South along the West side of the San Antonio River, you will soon arrive at the monumented Survey Mark, Station 832-2.
The disk is mounted in the concrete and pebble walkway where some decorative shapes of flower peddles are part of the pathway. The disk is relatively easy to spot if you are paying attention what is different along the path. The Station 832-2 disk is pretty close to being in the middle of the pathway. It is closer to the Arsenal Bridge than it is to the more southern Johnson Street Pedestrian Bridge.
