Sculpture of Dzok, a black mongrel dog, who for a whole year waited at the Rondo Grunwaldzkie roundabout to be fetched back by his master, who had died there.

The dog was claimed by the citizens and after a year it agreed to be adopted by a widow. When she later died, the dog wandered around and was unfortunately hit by a train and died.

At first, the authorities were not in favor of a memorial to the dog, but when many organizations, famous people and nationwide media showed interest and had the finances for a memorial, the project with a memorial to the dog succeeded.

The small monument depicts a dog surrounded by human hands and extending its left paw to the viewer. It should symbolize canine loyalty and, more generally, an animal's bond with a human.

The monument by artist Bronislaw Chromy was unveiled in 2001 by a German shepherd named Kety

The inscription on the monument (in Polish and English) reads:
"The most faithful canine friend ever, epitomizing a dog's boundless devotion to his master. Throughout the entire year / 1990-1991 / Dzok was seen waiting in vain at the roundabout Grunwaldzkie roundabout to be fetched back by his master.
