Citybike Station - Kraków, Poland - Realistic Object Sculptures on Waymarking.com

The Surrogate Citybike Station of concrete and metal is very similar. So much so that people park their own bikes in the artwork. But there is also both a bicycle stand and several similar bicycles. So the many tourists who come to the place can easily be mistaken. A sign has been put up to draw attention to the problem, and an invitation to park your bike somewhere else.


The artwork is made by modern art artist Leopold Kessler. He is born in Munich in 1976, but lives and works in Vienna. In 2003 he graduated Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and in 2004 Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. His art is works that are very accurate and site-specific and in this way he challenges the public space.
