"It owes its baroque appearance to the renovation carried out at the end of the 18th century. Semicircular arches separate its naves, whose groin vaults display Rococo decoration; above the transept there is a lowered neoclassical dome that contrasts with the vault of the "Sagrario chapel, decorated with exuberant plasterwork. The baroque main altarpiece comes from the Cordoba church of San Francisco."

"It was built between 1692 and 1699. It is a temple of Mudejar tradition renovated at the end of the 18th century whose interior constitutes an interesting complex in which the passage from the baroque tradition of the land towards a neoclassical renovation can be appreciated.

This is also seen in the chapel of the Tabernacle, a beautiful hexagonal enclosure with a gallon vault, whose surfaces are used for the extravagance of radial plasterwork that represents fruit inserts, textiles and double-headed eagles, all of which still has something of the baroque, although the neoclassical It is strongly imposed on its exteriors.

The main altarpiece, in its attic, presents a canvas with the Adoration of the Shepherds plus two others in its upper body with Saint Dominic and Saint Francis. All three are works from the 18th century.

In the Sacristy of the parish there is a black marble font, from the hermitage of the Virgen de los Remedios, decorated with two lions facing each other, whose popular workmanship gives them an imprint that, although schematic, is not without appeal. The silver pieces of the parish are displayed in a display case. In it we can admire pieces that correspond to the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries."
