Il a été difficile de trouver des informations sur cette église paroissiale.
Elle date du XVe siècle et indique que le village devait être bien plus peuplé qu'il ne l'est aujourd'hui car c'est une très grande construction : haute mais surtout large et longue.
Wikipdia nous indique que dans un premier temps, le clocher fut classé aux monuments historiques en 1949 puis le batiment au complet en 1984.
Enfin, on sait que de nombreuses peintures murales ont été rénovées récemment.
