Escudo cuartelado: 1.º, de plata, dos lobos de sable [cebados] pasantes, puestos en palo, bordura de gules con ocho aspas de oro (que es Haro); 2.º, de plata, tres fajas ajedrezadas de cuatro órdenes de oro y gules, cargadas cada una de una cotiza de sable (que es Sotomayor) Timbrado de corona marquesal. "Construcción realizada en mampostería, ladrillo y piedra molinaza, de tres naves, con cuatro tramos, crucero y cabecera rectangular. Arcos de medio punto sobre columnas toscazas soportan bóvedas de arista en las naves laterales y en los brazos del crucero; la nave central se cubre con bóveda de cañón, mientras el crucero lo hace con cúpulas con tambor sobre pechinas, éstas decoradas con los escudos de los marqueses de El Carpio. Muy interesante es la Cripta, situada bajo la capilla mayor, realizada para enterramiento de los Señores de El Carpio. El exterior de la parroquia es muy sobrio destacando las dos portadas situadas en los lados norte y sur respectivamente. La torre ubicada al sureste de la cabecera está realizada en piedra y ladrillo y es de planta cuadrangular." Semicircular arches on Tuscan columns support groin vaults in the side naves and in the arms of the transept; the central nave is It is covered with a barrel vault, while the transept is covered with domes with a drum on pendentives, these decorated with the shields of the Marquises of El Carpio. Very interesting is the Crypt, located under the main chapel, made for the burial of the Lords of El Carpio.
