"There is already a new management contract for the cultural space located in O Vello Cárcere. The City Council reported yesterday, after the government meeting, that it was awarded to the company Alenti Soluciones para Eventos for an annual amount of 327,878 euros. The agreement has a duration of five years, renewable each year and will mean more workers and services for the facility.
"There will be 10 professionals to provide two coordination services, reception, technology and audiovisual, artistic dissemination, teaching space and children's reading, with a total of 18,982 hours," detailed municipal sources. The cultural management of the old prison building, which was opened to the public after its restoration at the beginning of 2017, has generated the largest service contract of those carried out yesterday by the Council.
The contracts for the supply of cleaning and food products for Fogar do Transeúnte were extended for one year and for a sum of 3,800 euros and 45,300 euros respectively. The piste clearing service in the rural area is also extended, which will be carried out from June to September with a budget of 97,920 euros.
It opened the process for contracting the cleaning, repair and maintenance and conservation service of the ornamental fountains of Lugo for a period of four years, extendable for another, and a budget of 73,000 euros per year. In addition, it was agreed to modify the contract corresponding to the provision of the Antonio Gandoy municipal day center service for the elderly, to include in the price the increase in workers' salaries produced by the approval of a new sectoral and regional collective agreement. . This increase represents 11,432.16 euros, so the annual price of the contract would be set at a total of 375,774.4 euros.

The Council says that throughout 2018 there were a total of 127 files that were processed and that the figure represented an increase of 60% compared to the previous year's figure.
