"The area of ??Culture, Tourism and Language Promotion continues with the Culturbán urban art festival , which this year celebrates its second edition in collaboration with Espacio Lupa Arte . The renowned muralist Miguel Peralta was in charge of creating a new mural in the Seminario municipal parking lot , which can already be seen from Anxo López Pérez avenue.Culturban Mural in Lugo
"We continue to work on artistic interventions in the street that turn Lugo into an avant-garde, participative and friendly place ," explained the councilor for Culture, Maite Ferreiro .
The new mural was made using the colors of the surroundings , which will allow, as explained by the mayor of Culture, "a better integration between this artistic intervention and the surroundings". The mural embodies a revision of the myth of the Minotaur , showing us Ariadne cutting the thread with which she helped Theseus escape the labyrinth.

Maite Ferreiro highlighted "the success" of the interventions of the first Culturbán, which led them to bet on a second edition expanded in proposals to "continue working to improve the image of the streets of Lugo with art". During the summer, this second edition of Culturbán began with the Combate Mural held in August and the photography exhibitions Open Windows that were displayed in the windows of the Círculo das arts during the summer months."
