[ES] “Florentino era natural de Galinduste, Salamanca. Hijo de Bernardo y Agripina, también de Galinduste, emigró a Madrid y en los años 30 ya estaba instalado con su mujer Carmen Horcajo y sus tres hijos Gabriel, Florentino y Antonio. Florentino trabajaba en una carbonería, algo que tuvo mucha importancia en su destino dentro del campo.

Al inicio de la guerra se alistó como voluntario en el Batallón "Prieto". En junio del 37 lo hace en el cuerpo de Carabineros y es destinado a la Jefatura Central de Transporte. En agosto de 1938 es ascendido a teniente y destinado al Batallón de Retaguardia 23, en Guadalajara.

Tras el exilio y su paso por el campo francés de Saint Cyprien, se alistó en una compañía de trabajadores con destino a La Línea Maginot. Fue detenido en mayo de 1940, ingresado en el Stalag XVII-B en Gneixendorf. Allí estuvo hasta que fue deportado a Mauthausen en diciembre de 1941. Posteriormente fue trasladado a Ebensee, de dónde fue liberado el 6 de mayo de 1945.

Su stolperstein se puso el 13 de junio de 2023 en la calle Concepción Bahamonde 5.”

Son of Bernardo and Agrippina, also from Galinduste, he emigrated to Madrid and in the 1930s he was already settled with his wife Carmen Horcajo and his three sons Gabriel, Florentino and Antonio.
