"It consists of a single nave with exterior buttresses and a polygonal head to which a dressing room is attached behind a neo-Gothic altarpiece in which the Holy Christ of the Blood is located.
It is from the 16th century, and although it does not have great artistic merits, there is great devotion among the population. It is in a perfect state of conservation. It was renovated in the 18th century.
According to legend, this Christ of the Blood passed through the town on the way to Antequera from Seville, where it had been made into pasta. When passing by where his hermitage is today, the cart that was transported by oxen "stuck and we had to make a house for him because he did not want to leave this town."
