Het beeld is gemaakt ter gelegenheid van 'Duuve Te Gek 2002' - het oorspronkelijke beeld was gemaakt van een gebogen lantaarnpaal met echte fietsen omwikkeld met aluminiumfolie en ijzerdraad. Omdat men het wilde laten staan is het door de kunstenaar van een steviger materiaal opnieuw vervaardigd."

"Curved steel pole on which three cyclists cycle up.
The statue was made on the occasion of 'Duuve Te Gek 2002' - the original statue was made of a curved lamppost with real bicycles wrapped in aluminum foil and iron wire. Because they wanted to leave it standing, the artist remade it from a sturdier material."
