Un barrage datant de 1913 permet de dévier une partie du débit de la Loue vers une galerie taillée dans la roche, d’une longueur de plus de 200 m. Cette galerie est ensuite reliée à la centrale hydroélectrique par deux conduites forcées accrochées au flanc de la falaise.

A dam dating from 1913 diverts part of the Loue's flow into a rock-cut gallery over 200 m long. This gallery is then connected to the hydroelectric power station by two penstocks clinging to the cliff face.
