This monument was built between 1960 and 1968. It has a strong nationalist meaning. It is located in a large park named Greater Iqbal Park. Easy to walk to the monument from the historical center of Lahore. However it is not possible to approach to the monument. It has to be observed from a distance, behind a fence.
