Located at 400 Main St, Point Pleasant, WV 25550, this is the world's only Mothman Museum. Born of a local legend that has been featured in Book and Film this legend relates the accounts of John Keel's investigation into confirmed sightings of a large, winged creature called Mothman in the vicinity of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, during 1966 and 1967. It combines these accounts with his theories about UFOs and various supernatural phenomena, ultimately connecting them to the collapse of the Silver Bridge across the Ohio River on December 15, 1967. Official investigations in 1971 determined it was caused by stress corrosion cracking in an eyebar in a suspension chain.

The museum offers the largest collection of mothman souvenirs and memorabilia offered anywhere in the world. It offers a variety of styles and merchandise for men, women, and kids ranging books, to novelties, clothing and more.
