The Gainfeld waterfall is a natural monument and is located west of the city center of Bischofshofen, about a 30-minute walk from the center

It is located on the Gainfeldbach at the eastern exit of the Gainfeld above Bischofshofen, just a few meters below the Pongowe ruins.
The fall height of the Gainfeldbach at this point is around 50 meters. Over the course of thousands of years, the water has eroded the rock into bowls. Due to the high humidity, the area around the fall is considered a healing climate zone.

The mill path follows the stream.
