The Capela de Santiago was one of the two chapels available for spiritual support of the Portuguese garrison here, in the fort of Diu. Nowadays it's just a ruin, bare walls and a roof. It's possible to enter the space and feel the solitude, just with the noise of the waves. It's literally by the sea.
