In this main square you can find this nice band shell. It's frequently used for concerts.
n 1954, this auditorium came to occupy the place previously occupied by the old music kiosk, the work of architect Luis Barrón. It was built as a shell, following the model of another that had been installed a short time before in the North American city of San Francisco. The decorative motifs that La Concha displays in its highest part are the work of the sculptor Lucarini, also the author of the frogs installed in the ponds of the Rosaleda.
