EN: This wayside cross stands at a crossroads in the hamlet of Roderis, which belongs to the municipality of Nunningen.
The cross is made of stone and is about three and a half meters high. It has a figure of Jesus protected by a metal roof, which was probably added later.
In the lower part there is a metal sign with the inscription: "In memory of the day of the accident / Helene Flüeler / August 22, 1927". What happened then, I could not find out.
DE: Dieses Wegkreuz steht an einer Kreuzung im zu Nunningen gehörenden Weiler Roderis.
Das Kreuz ist aus Stein und rund dreienhalb Meter hoch. Es hat eine Jesusfigur, die durch ein Metalldach geschützt ist, das vermutlich nachträglich angebracht wurde.
Im unteren Teil befindet sich ein Metallschild mit der Aufschrift: "Zur Erinnerung an den Unglückstag / Helene Flüeler / 22. August 1927". Was damals passierte, konnte ich nicht herausfinden.
